Our Story

Since 1978, Schlumberger Accounting Services, Inc. has been providing customized financial and tax guidance to individuals, families, and businesses. Our firm was founded by Bob Schlumberger in Pennsylvania with the desire to serve the extensive tax and financial needs of both individuals and business owners. While we have relocated to Florida and expanded our team and services, our mission has remained the same: to offer the highest quality service and individual attention to each of our clients. Today, we offer in-depth services, from retirement and estate planning to bookkeeping and IRS representation.

As an independent firm with the support of broker-dealer H.D. Vest Investment ServicesSM, we can offer clients the personal attention and close relationships of a small family practice, while having access to the services and resources of a large firm. With thorough knowledge of both financial services and accounting, we can marry both needs to ensure your strategies complement one another and work cohesively.

As a family firm, we treat our clients like family, striving to serve as approachable financial partners offering personalized service. Rather than use jargon and complex terminology, we explain concepts in plain English, always offering education regarding clients’ strategies. Working closely with many clients within Citrus County, we have been a staple of our area’s business community for decades and we pride ourselves on the level of esteem and trust we have earned.

Whether you have simple tax questions or are in need of a comprehensive financial strategy, we welcome the opportunity to work with you and help you explore solutions that address your greatest goals.
